Best Workplaces in Travel is a yearly survey and awards that look at which key factors employees of travel organisations value most in their employers, while rewarding the best industry performers. I was approached to give their 2024 edition a fresh new look.
Travel organisations of all shapes and sizes take part in the awards, I was keen to represent this in the logo which draws influence not only from the idea of rays of sunshine, but also the symmetrical patterns of a snowflake. The logo conjures the idea of expansion and travelling, but also people being drawn to the best places to work, while the expanding bars represent the survey data which provides valuable insight to every organisation that takes part.
The logo mark is the key device around which the rest of the identity is built. Its flexible nature meaning it can function as part of patterns, image overlays, containers and even form the awards themselves.
